Holiday Happenings

Wow! November flew by and December is almost over! Seems like the years keep getting shorter and the days longer! While some of us were rushing through the holiday of Thanksgiving and taking the massive plunge to ward off shoppers on Black Friday for the biggest deals out there, our talent has been killing out in the industry, with the "All Work, No Play" mentality. November was a great month for our talent here at MLM and December has shown no mercy either.

Here's whats been happening.....

12 year old dancer/model/actress Jocelyn Mastro has not spared a moment of her time for the holidays, but instead has enjoyed the hustle and bustle of the holiday season enduring 12 hour dance practices and tech rehearsals so she could dance her heart out on our television screens, at the 6ABC Dunkin Donuts Thanksgiving Day Parade. Jocelyn was a featured dancer for the parade performing with Main Line's own singing sensation Ashlee Keating and her hit single "Ice Kingdom", Jocelyn performed for the opening of the parade as well as for Australian rock sensation "Evin" as she performed "BoyFriend for Christmas".  And as if that wasn't enough, Jocelyn juggled her schedule to also take on a new endeavor as she was recently hired as the Philadelphia 76ers NEW JUNIOR KID REPORTER! Jocelyn throughout the 2015-2016 basketball season will be interviewing Live and Pre-taped feed from the 76ers players themselves! What a fun job! This weekend 12/20 Jocelyn will be kicking off the Christmas week by appearing as a featured dancer with the young singing talent of rapper/singer Nya-Jolie in Brooklyn NY for a special live performance event "Santa Baby"

November also went out with a bang with the National release of the Philadelphia based movie "Creed" starring Michael B Jordan and Sylvester Stallone. Main Line Models and Talent actors and actresses appeared throughout the film and enjoyed a walk on the red carpet at the movie premier at the Movies Tavern on November 30th. Congrats to all of you on a successful movie release!

Even our Models have been hard at work. Model Rebecca Pereira competed in the Miss Teen Delaware Pageant and after competing in the evening gown, essay, interview and swimsuit divisions of the pageant, walked away with a 1st runner up Miss Teen Delaware title! This is a huge accomplishment! Not only was this the first time that Rebecca had competed in a pageant, but she made it all the way to 1st runner up beating over 100+ girls in the competition! Amazing!!!!! Way to Go Rebecca! Doesn't she look stunning!

Main Line's talent is off the hook this holiday season! We are booking job after job, walking the runway and hitting the end of the year hard! I cant wait to ring in 2016 and see what the future holds for our talent!!!!

We all make New Years resolutions, and its hard sticking to the goals we set for ourselves, but I have confidence that 2016 is going to prove to be even better than 2015. I believe in all of our talent. We do amazing things when we believe we can achieve. My resolution is to see you all succeed in your goals, whether it be on the BIG screen, little screen, runway or print, no job is too small for all of you! Go out there and get it in this New Year!!! And as this year comes to a close, remember Main Line Models and Talent is thankful to be representing all of you. Keep growing, keep succeeding and keep setting your bar higher! We love you and and have a happy and healthy holiday season!!!
